NEWS RELEASE -- A community clean up is scheduled for a portion of the Warrington neighborhood on Monday, July 28, beginning at 7 a.m.

The clean sweep will target the area north of Gulf Beach Highway, south and east of Patton Drive and west of Navy Boulevard.

The goal of these sweeps is to assist residents with the removal of unwanted items ranging from tires and household hazardous waste, including paint and aerosol cans. The unwanted items will need to be placed curbside before 7 a.m. so collection crews from the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority can have easy access to remove the items.

Additional clean sweeps will soon be announced for other parts of the Warrington neighborhood.

A recent sweep of the Montclair neighborhood netted over 31 tons of debris, including one ton of discarded tires.
