UWF students go to financial boot camp

Pen Air Federal Credit Union and the University of West Florida Executive Mentor Program will host the inaugural “Financial Boot Camp” on from 4 – 5:45 p.m. on Oct. 16 in the College of Business Education Center, Building 76A, Room 102. The Boot Camp hosts financial professionals as guest lecturers who present topics to prepare students with the essential financial literacy they require prior to accepting their first professional position after graduation. Pen Air FCU representative Scott A. Arkills, EVP/Chief Operating Officer will present "Understanding Credit,” and John Heckmann, Investment ALM Specialist will present "How to Budget your Finances after College.” The Pen Air Federal Credit Union/Executive Mentor Program Financial Boot Camp was established through a recent gift commitment from Pen Air Federal Credit Union in support of UWF College of Business students.
