The Christmas at the Clinic Gala, a Festival of Trees event is set for Nov. 20 at 6:30 at Artel Gallery located at 223 Palafox Place in Pensacola.

Last year's event raised $45,000 to benefit Health & Hope Clinic, a volunteer and donor-driven medical and dental clinic that provides health care to the uninsured and medically underserved in Escambia County.

Local health care professionals estimate that nearly 50 percent of Escambia County's population does not have health insurance.

The event features beautifully decorated Christmas trees and wreaths donated by area decorators and businesses. Event sponsors include the Studer Foundation, Olive Baptist Church, Baptist Healthcare, U.S. Rep. Jeff Miller, Florida Blue and Sandy Sansing Automotive.

The gala, emceed by Becca Boles with entertainment provided by The Forrest Williams Band, will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres, handmade sushi, desserts and coffee provided by Olive Baptist Catering and a silent auction to bid on the beautiful trees and wreaths.
