BRIEFCASE: Wiggins Lawn Service sold to Lawn Master

Pensacola businessman and former Pensacola Mayor Mike Wiggins has sold his business, Wiggins Lawn Spray Service, to Pensacola lawn care company Lawn Master. The transition will take effect as of Jan. 1, 2015, when Lawn Master will begin providing service for all current Wiggins customers. “I am personally very pleased that Lawn Master will be taking care of my valued customers,” Wiggins said. “I chose to sell to Lawn Master because of our shared ethics and integrity, and that they are also a local family-owned business. I know my customers will be treated with fairness and honesty, in addition to receiving the best service from their horticultural experts.” The treatment service schedules, call-back policies and current prices for all Wiggins customers will stay the same for the 2015 season. “We are honored to acquire the Wiggins Lawn Spray customers, and we look forward to having them as part of Lawn Master,” said Lawn Master President and Founder Joe Williams. “We will continue to provide the same level of service to our new customers that we’ve been offering to the Pensacola community for almost 35 years.” “I have been in the lawn care business for over 40 years and it was time to plan for the future of my business,” Wiggins said. “It has been my pleasure to work with each and every one of my customers.” Lawn Master, Inc. was founded in 1981.
