ECUA issues boil water notice for parts of Pensacola Beach

The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority has issued a precautionary boil water notice has been issued on Pensacola Beach for the following streets due to a water main break:
  • Calle Bonita
  • Bulevar Mayo
  • Ensanada Cinco
  • Ensanada Quatro
  • Calle Traviesa
  • Calle Juela
Residents should boil water for one minute at a rolling boil, or to use 8 drops of regular unscented household bleach per gallon of water, for water to be used for drinking or cooking. Water quality tests will be done and the advisory will remain in place for 48 hours. There also is the possibility of discolored water as a result of the line break. Flush the plumbing in your home by allowing the water to run for a few minutes. Questions? Call ECUA Customer Service at 850-476-0480.
