Clips from Genesis 3D, a feature‐length Christian film being produced in Pensacola, will be shown at the December 19th Gallery Night across the street from the Saenger Theatre in downtown Pensacola in order to raise awareness of the project. While the film has garnered support from over 2,300 donors from 25 different countries, only 22 donors to the film live in Northwest Florida. The film is still the 12th most funded film on crowdfunding web site, Indiegogo, a year after its campaign closed with $272,359 dollars raised in just 10 weeks. The documentary film, based on the first book of the Bible, will feature 3D visual effects and scientific research. Genesis 3D has received several major endorsements from leaders in Christian entertainment including Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort, best known for The Way of the Master. Alex Kendrick, director of Courageous and Fireproof, said, “This will show Biblical truth in an excellent way… We are raising the bar.” Ken Ham, Founder of Creation Museum, said, “It’s like a time machine… Genesis the Movie will be as if you were there.” For more information, visit http://www.genesismovie.com.
