Navy Federal Credit Union CEO Cutler Dawson has promoted Debbie Calder from senior vice president to executive vice president of Greater Pensacola Operations.

“This promotion is to recognize Debbie’s superb work to get us to where we are today,” Dawson said Friday. “Over the past seven years under her management, our Pensacola operation has grown from 850 employees to more than 4,000.

“During this time, Debbie has also embraced the Pensacola community as demonstrated by her service on several boards and committees,” Dawson said.

Dawson said Calder’s promotion to executive vice president places her near the very top of Navy Federal’s executive leadership. She is one of only six executive vice presidents at Navy Federal.

"As we grow in Pensacola, I look forward to us continuing to provide a great workplace for our team members, and service to our members and the greater Pensacola community," Calder said.

Prior to relocating to Pensacola in 2007, Calder spent 16 years at Navy Federal’s headquarters in Vienna, Va., in various leadership roles, including vice president of consumer and credit card lending, collections and contact center operations.

Navy Federal's 302-acre campus in the Beulah community is home to nearly 4,000 employees.

The campus currently is undergoing a $300 million expansion that will bring another 5,000 jobs to the Pensacola area.
