The Pensacola Today Short List for New Year’s Eve is out. — “American Sniper”’s Pensacola connection Kevin Lacz, a physician assistant at the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, was a consultant on the film, in which he plays himself. Lacz served with U.S. Navy Seal Chris Kyle, the film’s subject. Kyle came to be known as the most deadly sniper in the Iraq War and was called “The Devil of Ramadi” by the insurgents he was fighting. Have fun. — Privateer’s Alley developers’ hopes high for 2015 Developer Bob Montgomery and his partner, Chan Cox, are looking forward to moving their project near the Aragon development at Ninth Avenue ahead in the coming year. “Chan and I are planning — and I will stress planning — to do a pretty major development on the Aragon property that faces Ninth Avenue,” Montgomery said. “We’re just starting to work on plans, and I don’t have the financing yet. “We want to move ahead with it, but we have a ways to go.” Read the story here.
