Studers to offer small business loans

Kaycee Lagarde, staff writer for PNJ.com is reporting Quint and Rishy Studer will be investing $250,000 early next year in a micro-loan program for small businesses in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, with a focus on helping businesses grow in the town of Century.
"We're going to open it up to both counties," Studer said. "But we're certainly going to have a bit of an emphasis on northern Escambia, because that's an important aspect of growing a county." Quint Studer said that the loans will be small, in the $3,000 range, in order to be able to help a larger number of businesses.
