More than 600 students from area middle schools, high schools and colleges are set to participate in the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Region 1 competition on Friday, Jan. 16, at Pensacola State College.
Competitions range from Forensic Medicine to Biomedical Debate to HOSA Bowl.
A new competition is Medical Innovation that requires students to come up with new ideas. Their innovations are displayed similar to science fair projects from 9 – 11:30 a.m. in Building 96, Room 9663, on the PSC Pensacola campus.
Region 1 winners qualify to attend the HOSA State Conference in Lake Buena Vista in March.
