More than 600 students from area middle schools, high schools and colleges are set to participate in the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Region 1 competition on Friday, Jan. 16, at Pensacola State College. Competitions range from Forensic Medicine to Biomedical Debate to HOSA Bowl. A new competition is Medical Innovation that requires students to come up with new ideas.
