A panel of experts led by Fitness Olympian Laticia Jackson and psychologist Eurydice Stanley will highlight the Pensacola Network's 2015 kick-off event Friday at DeVilliers Square in Pensacola. Theme for the 5 p.m. event is "Developing a Mindset for Health and Prosperity," and making New Year's resolutions work, said co-organizer Lloyd Reshard. "The Pensacola Network is a grass-roots effort to help grow our community," Reshard said. "Typically we have a diverse crowd that averages about 100 people." In addition to guest speakers Jackson and Stanley, other speakers will include Ladonna Spivey, Destini Robinson and Keya Wiggins. (Click here to read a Studer Institute story about the series.) “It has been a success because people are expecting great information and ideas,” said Reshard, “and that's what they're getting.” In addition, each month a special guest joins co-host Robin Reshard for a conversation for the web series —The Pensacola Network Show —  to discuss their vision, opportunities and challenges of their sector. Past Pensacola Network guests include Gulf Power Co. president Stan Connally, Escambia County Commissioner Lumon May, Escambia RESTORE Committee Chairwoman Bentina Terry, Escambia Sheriff David Morgan, Pensacola Mayor Ashton Hayward, UWF president Dr. Judy Bense, and Studer Institute President Randy Hammer.
