ADDY Awards recognize creative excellence

Studer Communications brought home three ADDY Awards after the Pensacola Chapter of the American Advertising Federation presented its 2015 America Advertising Awards. More than 160 local advertising students and marketing professionals attended the annual event on Friday at the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front. The Gold Awards included:
  • Studer Community Institute's Pensacola Metro Report (Newspaper Single Insert Newspaper Category)
  • BlabTV’s Sizzle Reel from the Talent Search (Advertising Industry (Broadcast)
  • Pensacola Today’s Commercial (Television Local (One DMA) Single Category)
Of more than 200 entries received by the AAF Pensacola from professional and student members, 67 gold American Advertising Awards and 101 silver American Advertising Awards were presented. Entries were judged on creativity, originality and creative strategies. Top winners included:
  • Professional Best of Show: IdGroup, Ever’Man Cooperative Grocery & Cafe
  • Student Best of Show: Joe Chisenall, Pensacola State College

  • Idgroup, Chain Reaction brand rollout

The American Advertising Awards, formerly the ADDYs, is a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation. It is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition for creative excellence, attracting more than 50,000 entries every year in local ADDY competitions across the United States. Gold and silver winners are eligible to advance to district competition. District winners advance to the national level.
