Women's group donates $1,414 to Gulf Coast Kid's House

Powerful Women of the Gulf Coast donated $1,414 to the Gulf Coast Kid’s House on Feb. 6.
The donation resulted from 80 percent of the proceeds from the 2014 “Pursue Your Passion” Conference and a portion of the revenues from the “MISS Representation” Movie Screening (in cooperation with Junior League of Pensacola).
Kid’s House used the 2014 donated funds to assist purchase pack-n-plays, which help in preventing child fatalities from co-sleeping.
The 2015 donations to Kid’s House will be used to assist families with travel to and from the Center.
The group’s “Pursue Your Passion” Women’s 2015 Conference is planned for Oct. 16 at Sanders Beach Corrine-Jones Community Center. It is held each year during National Business Women’s Week. There will also be a Networking Breakfast on Oct. 13 and a Meet and Greet event on the evening of Oct. 15.
