Art in the Park call to artists deadline is March 9

The Pensacola Museum of Art is seeking artists for the 13th annual Art in the Park festival, a juried event that takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 16-17 in historic Seville Square.

The Pensacola Museum of art is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum is closed on Sunday and Monday. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 children 17 & under, military and seniors.

Admission is free for museum members.

It will feature more than 100 regional and national artists displaying their works in a full range of media such as ceramics, photography, jewelry, sculpture, paintings and more.

The museum is introducing an emerging artist category to this year’s festival. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, may have not participated in any more than two juried art shows, and can have any type of training or schooling (may also be self taught).
