How big will IMPACT 100 be this year?

Will the women's philanthropy group IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area set another membership record, and remain the nation's largest such organization?
The answer will come Thursday, March 19, during the group's annual membership announcement.
The event is scheduled for The Cathedral of Sacred Heart Community Hall on 12th Avenue, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
In 2014 IMPACT 100 broke the 1,000 member barrier, and gave to local nonprofit organizations more than $1 million dollars. The group's 2015 membership drive ended March 1.
IMPACT's funds are raised through annual membership donations of $1,000 required of each member.
The group is strictly volunteer and deducts no overhead. All funds raised go directly to non-profits chosen during a competitive process that culminates with grant awards in October of each year.
Last year the IMPACT 100 membership drive resulted in 1,025 members and provided ten local nonprofits with grants of $102,500 each.
This year will mark the 12th year that IMPACT 100 will award grants to local nonprofit organizations.
Since its founding in April 2004 by Debbie Ritchie, IMPACT 100 has given 57 grants, in increments of $100,000 or more, totaling over $6.17 million to nonprofits in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
