The 12th annual Chocolate Fest presented by Sandy Sansing Dealerships is coming to Cordova Mall this Saturday.

Chocolatiers from Pensacola will offer their wares for sweet-lovers — and for a good cause.

The event, fundraiser for the Gulf Coast Kid's House, is from noon to 3 p.m. The Kid's House is a not-for-profit child advocacy group that provides abused children—and their families—with a safe place to receive much needed medical exams, trauma counseling and case investigation.

On Monday, April 27, Kid's House will host a grand opening of the Allen R. Levin Family Advocacy and Education Wing from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the facility on 12th Avenue in Pensacola.

The $1 million expansion includes improved examination room space and accessibility, more room in Jane's Closet, where children in crisis can shop for clothes and immediate supplies and adds meeting room space to improve the efficiency of the house's operation.

Last year’s Chocolate Fest had over 20 restaurants and 1,000 attendees.  Pensacola Beach Hilton’s H2O took the 2014 People’s Choice Award for best chocolate. Tickets are $10 each until Saturday; they are $15 at the door.
