Police cruisers, fire trucks, a helicopter, and a bomb squad robot will be taking over Community Maritime Park on Saturday, but don’t be alarmed. There’s no big emergency at the park, but there will be lots of fun at the Pensacola Parks and Recreation Department Touch-A-Truck event from 10am to 2pm. Children will get the chance to climb on, touch and explore lots of specialty and emergency vehicles, meet characters and mascots, and even a bomb squad robot. Parents can learn more about Play Pensacola Summer Camps, help Cram the Van with summer camp supplies, and enter to win great prizes in the Summer Camp Scholarship Raffle. The event is sponsored by the City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation Department, Community Maritime Park, Soft Rock 94.1, Magic 106.1, Jet 100.7, Nash 102.7, News Talk 1370, Cox Media, Buffalo Rock-Pepsi, and Cat Country 98.7.
