St. John Divine Missionary Baptist Church will sponsor a community workshop focusing on preparing now for end-of-life issues.

The workshop is set for 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 14 at the church at 620 E. Jordan St., Pensacola.

The workshop, "Putting Things into Prospective/Preparing Now for Later" will have panelists including:

— Kristen Marks of "The Pink Lawyer," discussing the difference between power of attorney, a living will and a last will and testament;

— Willie and Shirley Johnson from Covenant Hospice, will give an overview of services provided by Covenant Hospice;

— Tracy Morton of Tracy Morton Memorial Chapel will provide personalized, professional, and compassionate advice to help lighten your burden and support you through times of grief.

“These are things our community needs to know,” said Elaides Sampson, Covenant Hospice volunteer and church member. “Our senior ministry along with our minister, Pastor Joseph Marshall, wanted to offer this for our entire community.”

Please RSVP to Eladies P. Sampson 850-501-0717 or church office 850-432-0568.
