Milton summer volleyball camp registration under way

The City of Milton is now accepting signups for a summer volleyball camp at the Guy Thompson Community Center. Registration is currently under way for the camp designed for boys and girls grades 2 through 8. Cost of the camp is $10, which includes a T-shirt. This camp will involve teaching skills and a better understanding of the game. The camp will be held every Tuesday and Thursday June 15 to July 20^th. “We are excited about offering a new sport to the young people in the community,” said Robert Arnold, the Recreation and Activities Coordinator with the City of Milton Parks and Recreation Department. “We are wanting to see the interest that can be generated in this sport and try to add this as one of the new sports programs at the Guy Thompson Community Center.” Sign-ups are currently underway Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Guy Thompson Community Center located at 5629 Byrom St. in Milton.
