Saenger announces Classic Movie Series lineup

The Saenger Classic Movie Series will begin Saturday, July 11 at 7 p.m. with the 1950 black and white comedy, “"Father of the Bride,”" starring Spencer Tracy and Elizabeth Taylor. Every Saturday night the Saenger will feature a classic movie on one of the largest movie screens along the Gulf Coast. Movies will be shown each week at 7 p.m. (there is one Saturday exception, please see the schedule below) and tickets are $5. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, June 19 at 10 a.m. at the Saenger Theatre Box Office only. All movies will be seated on a first-come-first-served basis. "“We are very excited to showcase a summer jam-packed full of classic hit movies and movie musicals shown on the big screen—the way movies were meant to be seen,"” said Kathy Summerlin, Marketing Director for the Saenger Theatre.
