United Way of Escambia County will wrap up its annual workplace campaign and celebrate its community investment grant recipients on June 25. The event is open to the public and set for 4:50 to 7 p.m. at Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Community Center. Grants will presented to 43 programs from 30 agencies. United Way also will recognize top workplaces and volunteers who helped raise the funds for the annual workplace campaign. This year, United Way will distribute more than $2 million in focused grants that strengthen our community. In the last 10 years, $14,235,687 of donor support has help fund annual operations of more than 40 nonprofit programs. One donor will receive a 2015 Kia Soul, donated by Pensacola Kia AutoSport. Refreshments, including light appetizers, beer, wine and soft drinks, will be served. RSVP by calling (850) 434-3157 or by emailing [email protected].
