Beer-infused meats and foods take center stage at this month’s SipSavorTalk, the culinary networking event, on Monday, August 17, 2015, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., on the patio of Five Sisters Blues Cafe. This monthly culinary networking pairs Rick Solchenberger of Goldring Gulf Distributing with private chef Antonio Terry as the guest beverage and food experts. Tickets are $10 and are available at SipSavorTalk.com.

In its fifth month, the event continues to combine social and business networking around food and beverage introductions. Solchenberger is returning for the second time to share a few of the thousands of the distributor’s beers, including the new autumn varietals, on the very site of one of the distributor’s early liquor stores and bar. Newman Goldring, the company’s namesake, began one of his early liquor stores around 1898 on the site of Five Sisters Blues Café in Historic Belmont DeVilliers.

Teaming up for the first time with Solchenberger is Antonio Terry, a private chef who will introduce beer-infused meat and dishes. Terry, originally from Henderson, North Carolina, enjoys sharing his love of wholesome goods and well-thought ingredients, seeing people enjoying great food, and talking with each other. “It’s what I learned from summers spent with my grandparents,” Terry said.

“It’s pairings like these that get people to talking and keep people connected,” said Lloyd Reshard, president of Pivotal Data Technologies and co-founder of the event. Reshard said attendees continue to return to SipSavorTalk because of the unique food and beverage combinations as well as the opportunity to meet new people. “Every month it’s been amazing.”

Tickets to SipSavorTalk event are $10 and can be purchased online at www.SipSavorTalk.com.
