Escambia County District 2 Commissioner Doug Underhill will host a Lake Charlene/Brindle Trail area Community Meeting on Monday, Aug. 17.

The meeting is set at Pensacola State College's Warrington Campus (5555 West U.S. 98) in the McMillan Conference Room (Bldg. 3700, upstairs) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Residents are invited to attend a presentation on stormwater plans for the Warrington Basin, including the Lake Charlene/Bridle Trail area.

Topics will include the area's development history, April 2014 storm event analysis and funding opportunities. Engineers will also be there to discuss the project status and proposed alternatives and costs.
