As a leader you may question the concept that saying 'thank you' improves your health.

But there is science that supports that notion. A movement towards “positive psychology” says leaders who embrace gratitude are healthier.

Elizabeth Heubeck and Dr. Louise Chang believe “grateful people, those who perceive gratitude as a permanent trait rather than a temporary state of mind, have an edge on the not-so-grateful when it comes to health.”
