Need a last-minute Christmas gift?

Try channeling your inner tech mogul and ask yourself What Would Bill Read? Bill Gates, that is.

The founder of Microsoft and in some circles, the ultimate entrepreneur, releases an annual list of the best books he's read. Here's what he had to say about the 2015 list on GatesNotes: The Blog of Bill Gates:

I just looked over the list of books I read this year, and I noticed a pattern. A lot of them touch on a theme that I would call “how things work.” Some explain something about the physical world, like how steel and glass are used, or what it takes to get rid of deadly diseases. Others offer deep insights into human beings: our strengths and flaws, our capacity for lifelong growth, or the things we value.

The list includes books that explores the difference between "resume virtues" — what you have — and "eulogy virtues" — how people will remember you when you're gone; the history of efforts to eradicate disease; the psychological mindset of success; and a profile of Richard Nixon.

Happy reading.
