County's Play, Grow Learn effort offering spring break program

Escambia County's Play, Learn, Grow project is offering spring break camp.

Escambia County's Play, Learn, Grow after school program will host a special spring break program Monday, March 20 through Friday, March 24 from noon to 5:30 p.m. at Marie K. Young/Wedgewood Community Center and Park.

The program is free and open to youth in grades K-12, including those who have never participated in the Play, Learn, Grow after school program. Registration is required. 

The program will provide a fun, stimulating environment for students to enjoy during spring break, with recreational activities and games throughout the week. 

Activities include:

  • Basketball
  • Volleyball
  • Kickball
  • Electronic & board games
  • Hands-on projects
  • Arts and crafts

Program details:

  • When: Monday, March 20 through Friday, March 24, noon to 5:30 p.m.
  • Where: Marie K. Young/Wedgewood Community Center and Park, 6405 Wagner Road, Pensacola
  • Cost: FREE
  • Registration: Monday-Friday, 3-5:30 p.m. at Wedgewood Community Center
