As a professional football player, Pensacola native Josh Sitton is used to making news on the field. Now the Chicago Bears’ standout guard is making headlines off the field, too.
A team website highlighted Sitton’s participation last week in a fundraiser for the Studer Community Institute.
Sitton serves on the Institute’s board and was instrumental in putting together the fundraiser that was held on June 22 at Sander Beach-Corrine Jones Community Resource Center.
The 10-year NFL veteran coordinated and attended the sold-out gala, benefitting SCI’s efforts to improve early childhood learning for kids from birth to kindergarten.
