You are not alone if you have heard the term “content marketing” and you feel like you should know what it is but only have a vague idea.
In fact, most companies don’t know what it is and if they do, are not doing real content marketing.
Studer Community Institute wants to change that and is bringing you a workshop on Aug. 24, with keynote speaker Debbie Williams. The goal is to help you develop a strategic content marketing plan to grow your business or not-for-profit.
Williams, co-founder of Sprout Content, wants you to stop talking about “you” and start talking in the voice of your customer. She will share techniques to help bring a company’s story to life.
“I’m driven to connect people and businesses through engaging, purposeful content and inbound marketing strategies that deliver results and build relationships,” Williams says.
At the workshop you will learn:
— What content marketing is and how it works.
— How to develop a content marketing strategy based on goals.
— How to create and use true buyers personas.
— A basic understanding of search and using organic search engine optimization (SEO).
— Ideas for developing a strategic editorial calendar and funnel mapping the buyer’s journey.
— Tools and tactics to analyze your site and metrics to turn your content marketing plan into a lead generating inbound marketing funnel.
