Words aren't the only things that build a growing brain.

Music, too, is an important ingredient in the development of a young child's brain. Rhythm, repetition, even the math of music, are all pieces of the puzzle of early brain development.

The University of West Florida donated a recording of lullaby music to the Brain Bag project. The good folks at WUWF handled the recording and pianist Bolton Ellenberg performed nine classical pieces designed to soothe a little one — and maybe even a new parent or two.
