The Habitat for Humanity ReStore wants to remind you that if a remodel or makeover is on your spring to-do list, think of them before you think of the landfill or the Dumpster.

The store resells appliances, tools, flooring, lumber, plywood, yard maintenance tools, housewares, home decor and more that are in good condition.

They will pick up your donation if you can’t get the material to them. Call 476-0001 to schedule a pickup Tuesday through Sunday in Escambia or Santa Rosa counties.

And if you can volunteer to be part of a ReStore salvage crew, you can lend a hand that way.

Crew volunteers are contacted as a group and given details about the scope of a job, time, date and number of volunteers needed.
