The Century Business Challenge now has a home online. The Business Challenge, funded with $25,000 by Quint & Rishy Studer, has a website now. It will feature the application to participate in the challenge and other information. The Business Challenge, similar to a project the Studers funded in Pensacola, aims to jump start business in Century. The cash and other incentives will be awarded to the developer of the winning business plan. The deadline for applications will be the end of March. Finalists will be notified by mid-April. Then they will enter an eight- to 10-week program tailored by the Small Business Development Center. A winner is expected to be announced by July. Three judges will evaluate the submissions. The winning business will get space at the newly renamed Century Business Center on Pond Street and its name will go up on the sign outside the facility. Read More: Century Career Fair is today.
