BRIEFCASE: T.W. Newcomb hosts open house at Gallery Night

T.W. Newcomb & Associates, an Ameriprise Wealth Advisory, used the Feb. 20 Gallery Night to host an open house at their office on the sixth floor of the Coastal Bank and Trust building, 125 W. Romana St.
The office brought in two local artists, a musician, full bar, hors d’oeuvres and transformed their workplace. The effort about 100 people.
Thom Newcomb, CEO of T.W. Newcomb and Associates, said he wanted the open house to stand as an occasion to embrace the casual, yet elegant side of the industry.
“It gave clients a chance to experience the social side of their advisors, which includes art, music, and the idea of open communication, something that often goes forgotten in today’s financial businesses,” Newcomb said he plans to host an event like this at least once a quarter.
The next Gallery Night is March 20.
