Is Pensacola the epicenter of a new 'Sharknado'?

The Asylum, makers of the popular, deliberately cheesy "Sharknado" movies, has been filming in several Pensacola area locations recently, including the former PNJ building, Big Lagoon State Park and Dive Pros. The PNJ's Kimberly Blair provides more details:
Kerry Freeland, co-owner of the dive shop near Pensacola Naval Hospital, thinks the film is similar to the "Sharknado" series. … Several names for the movie have floated around the community, including "Bitten," but Freeland was told the name will be "Attack of the Three-headed Shark."
Actor Danny Trejo was among those seen in the area. Recent photos from the actor's Twitter account show him wearing a hat with the number "3" and a three-headed shark. If "Attack of the Three-Headed Shark" is indeed the title, it's likely a sequel of the 2012 Syfy movie "2-Headed Shark Attack," also from The Asylum. Then again, perhaps it's no coincidence that "Sharknado 3" is scheduled to be released later this year. It would not be the first time The Asylum used a fake working title while filming in the Pensacola area. In 2013, The Asylum filmed "Atlantic Rim" — a "mockbuster" take on "Pacific Rim" — in the area around Plaza Ferdinand and in the Escambia County Emergency Operations Center. At the time, producers said the movie would be called "From the Sea."
