Get ready for hurricane season, Pensacola

Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies, Community Maritime Park, Mayor Ashton Hayward and the City of Pensacola will host the third annual Citywide Hurricane & Disaster Preparedness Day event.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 13 at the Community Maritime Park.
To prepare the Pensacola community for the upcoming hurricane season and other disasters, BRACE has partnered with the Community Maritime Park and City of Pensacola to host this event.
Lack of emergency preparedness can lead to loss of life, injury and economic loss.
Greg Strader, executive director for BRACE, urges residents to take advantage of this great opportunity to learn how to be ready for hurricanes and emergencies of all kinds.
