To help local businesses prepare for natural disasters, the Greater Pensacola Chamber will host a seminar to discuss ways to develop a detailed disaster preparedness and continuity plan.

Attendees will learn what to expect from federal and state agencies in the event of a disaster, and available resources, such as counseling and bridge loans, before and after a disaster. Participants will also learn three essential elements to continuing to operate their business in the event that a disaster occurs.

“We want to help ensure our local businesses have the resources they need to continue operating following a disaster,” said Clay Ingram, President & CEO of the Chamber. “Our partnership with the Small Business Development Center allows us to provide the proper education and tools in preparing the business community for continuity and recovery.”
