Light Up Learning is the signature fundraiser for our Building Brains initiatives.
Our goal is to inform, equip and support 100% of parents and caregivers with children aged 0-3 years old about early brain development and provide them with the knowledge and resources they need to be an effective first teacher for their children.
Launched in 2017, Light Up Learning was created to raise awareness about the importance of kindergarten readiness, and the critical role parents play in their child’s development.
Since its inception, Light Up Learning has grown into more than a fundraiser; it’s an opportunity to bring our community together around a shared commitment to helping our children enter kindergarten ready to learn and thrive.
Funds raised through the event help sustain and expand SCI programs that empower parents and strengthen outcomes for children across our community.
To date, Light Up Learning has raised over $400,000 to help build our babies’ brains.
With your support, families will be better equipped, children will be more prepared for school, and our community will be stronger – today and for generations to come.
