The Jazz Society of Pensacola presents The Jazz Jam at the LaBrisa Cafe in Gulf Breeze on Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m.
Local musicians are invited to come down and join in on jazz favorites.
Admission is free for participating musicians.
Roger Villines, trumpeter and director of the Pensacola State College Jazz Ensemble, leads the session, with a professional "house band." Drummers please bring your own sticks/brushes.
Special menu and full bar available will be available.
Admission: $10 for JSOP members and guests, $15 for non-members, $5 for students with ID, and free admission for military in uniform. Proceeds will pay some to the house rhythm section plus raise funds toward the Pensacola 2015 JazzFest. Performing musicians are invited to sit-in and they are admitted free. For those who join the Jazz Society of Pensacola at this event, admission is free.
