Virginia College Summer friends and family day

Virginia College in Pensacola will host a Summer Friends & Family Day stargazing event for staff, former, current and prospective students and families on Thursday, June 4, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public, is slated for the campus at 312 E. Nine Mile Road, Suite 34. While learning about the educational opportunities available to students at Virginia College, attendees are invited to enjoy several activities for all ages. “We are excited to host our Summer Friends & Family Day here at Virginia College in Pensacola,” says Dr. Kim Coolidge, campus president. “It gives area residents the opportunity to learn more about Virginia College and the programs we offer while enjoying family-friendly activities.” The Escambia Amateur Astronomers’ Association will provide and set up several telescopes for attendees to view the night sky. Attendees will also be able to tour the campus, see demonstrations in all functional areas and receive information about programs offered including: Business Administration, Business Office Specialist, Cosmetology, Customer Service Professional, Healthcare Reimbursement, Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding, Network Technician, Patient Care Technician, Pharmacy Technician, Pharmacy Technology, Sales Professional and Surgical Technology.
