NEWS RELEASE -- A construction contract administered by Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast began this weekend on Navy Boulevard between Sunset Avenue and the main entrance to Pensacola Naval Air Station.

The project will repair a leaking water main to the base and will affect traffic to and from the installation, which could take up to 90 days.

Employees and visitors to NAS should anticipate traffic delays.
