Chuck Dieveney, managing director of Juggernaut Capital Partners, was the opening speaker for the Entrecon seminar Friday morning at The Rex Theatre.

If as the experts predict, 2016 will be the year of the entrepreneur, how can you best position your business to lure investors?

Inc.com offered some advice, by way of a post by Samuel Edwards “Five Keys that Every Investor Looks For in a Startup.

The key piece of advice is to do your own research and make your choices based on what you think is best for you and your investment options. That said, Edwards offers these five takeaways:

— How strong is the founding team of the company?

— What problem or need in the market does this company fill?

— How successful has the company been so far?

— Is the business structured to grow to the next level?

— is the company valued fairly for the market?
